We caught up with Ryan Gallagher, CEO and founder of ConnectMeAnywhere at the Second Chance Tuesday event in London ConnectMeAnywhere’s mission is “to make connecting easy… by using any phone as a gateway to the web and the world” or in Ryan’s words to “bridge the gap between the web and traditional telephony”.Surely applications such as Skype and an Internet browser on your phone already do this?! Well, they do replicate the functionality of a phone on your computer or a computer on your phone but there is no true integration between the two domains.. what does that mean, you are asking? How about calling webpages or sending a voice email from your phone? These are just two of the applications that ConnectMeAnywhere provides that span both the web and the telephony worlds in addition to the more traditional VOIP services.
