Judith Clegg and Michael Smith of Glasshouse who met at the original First Tuesday networking event during the late 90s, re-launched the concept in 2006, under the banner of ‘Second Chance TuesdayMichael and Judith felt the time was right to resurrect the event, as the technology space was starting to take off again after the dot com bust.With past presenters such as Craig Newmark of Craigslist, Jimmy Wales of Wikipedia and Michael Birch of Bebo, the events attract hundreds of entrepreneurs and investors who come to listen to great speakers and network.
Michael Smith and Judith Clegg hope that the Second Chance Tuesday events will not only provide networking opportunities, but more importantly, that they will also foster the creation of an entirely new community.
