Dr Sanku Jo works at KT (formerly Korea Telecom) and has the enviable job title, ‘Web 2.0 Evangelist’. Arguably, the title could have been invented solely for him, as his enthusiasm for web 2.0 was authentic and boundless.An evangelical role is required in a traditional telecoms company as web2.0 represents a huge shift in terms of company philosophy, administration and business management. Now they have to turn their attention to open standards and international business and even have to rethink the very fundamentals that their business culture is based on – carrying data.
