Dominik Grolimund of Wuala – p2p storage service
Wuala is an online storage service with a twist instead of storing your files on a company’s central server, Wuala’s software distributes and stores your files in a peer to peer network (your files will be split and stored on dozens, if not hundreds, computers of other Wuala users). This allows Wuala to significantly reduce its hosting costs at the expense of more complicated technology (Skype made the same trade off).
In this interview, Dominik Grolimund, Wuala’s co-founder talks about the technology and the company’s growth.
