inside innovation

Intruders.TV UK caught up with Daniel Graf during his recent trip to Europe where Kyte.tv has just opened a new office in Zurich.Kyte.tv allows users to create their own interactive TV channel on their website, blog, social network or mobile phone.
Daniel Graf demonstrated the technology using his Nokia N95 mobile phone, by leaving a short video message for Robert Scoble on Kyte’s Scobleizer channel. The entire process of recording a video clip, uploading it to Kyte.tv and then immediately streaming it over the web took less than a minute… wow.

Kyte.tv raised its series A and an additional strategic round from a long list of investors which included DFJ, Atomico, Ron Conway, Swisscom, Nokia and others. The company plans on generating revenue through video and mobile advertising as well as by creating an interactive and easy to use environment that companies can utilise to engage with their customers.

UPDATE: Kyte.tv has been acquired in january 2011 by Kit Digital (now Piksel from 2013).
