The MillionDollarHomepage.com site needs little introduction. Created by then cash-strapped student, Alex Tew, the Million Dollar Homepage is a giant Internet-based billboard that sold each of its pixels for a dollar. It took Alex just 4 months to sell the million pixels, which earned him a cool $1,000,000.We caught up with Alex Tew in London at the Moo party to get the inside info on MillionDollarHomepage.com and on what Alex is up to now.

His idea was simple and creative, there are however, way too many copycat’s. A unique idea like that only works once, then it loses it’s charm, many people are attempting to recreate these milliondollarhomepage’s but none of them will ever complete because they missed the point. They do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery though.
