inside innovation

Born in East London as a bedroom music show, the Boiler Room has become a visionary model for music broadcasting.
The format is simple: round up a motley crew of DJs, suggest they spin some records and broadcast the resulting imagery to the world. Since the first session aired during April 2010, guests have included James Blake, Mount Kimbie, Diplo, Jamie XX & Four Tet and support has ranged from Red Bull Music Academy to Last.fm.

As a truly innovative project, Jules Hallam sat down with Boiler Room original head of music Thristian bPm to delve into the project’s development and plans for the future.
