inside innovation

It’s not often we’re introduced to a DJ who’s career spans two decades, but DJ Marky has garnered international attention as one of the most revered drum and bass proponents out there.
Learning to mix using casette tapes, his eminent talent was instantly recognised when he began performing at Sao Paulo’s underground clubs from age twelve. It wasn’t long before Marky was invited to London to demonstrate his unrivalled skills at clubs including the End and fabric alongside making appearances on Top of the Pops and compiling Essential Mixes for Radio One.

Eleven years on, Jules Hallam was invited to fabric to meet what he found to be a sincerely humble fellow to discuss London’s worldwide musical credentials, reactive DJ sets and the origins of his talent.
