Nvidia’s Tegra demo dual boot to boot!

WHEN NEIL TREVETT of Nvidia told the INQ his Tegra demo would freak people out “in a good way” we just knew it was a candidate for INQ TV.
Sadly, the “world’s first dual boot phone” wasn’t quite as freaky as we’d hoped, but with a choice start up boot option of either Windows or Android, it’s an interesting concept.
Trevett also shows off the power of Open GLES and 3D graphics on the little touchscreen handheld to multitask on several apps concurrently.
Just make sure you use anti bacterial hand lotion before you touch it, or Derek Perez might throw a tantrum…

man, turn off the overhead light next time. the thing is backlighted. and don’t eat a bucket of fried chicken and get the screen all greasy. and please, fix the aspect ratio.

That’s pretty impressive, but provided enough cash, building one of these is easy.I want to see for how much it will retail. A $1000,00 phone is not what I actually call appealing, even with 1080p playback.

first the lighting was crap
tho i’m sure yall did the best you could with the several points inside keepin ya warm 
however i’m not convinced it does dual boot as they only showed a screen that they CLAIMED was the `boot mgr`. didnt see it boot into android.

- I only saw one OS – did he show the other one?
- he’s right about the anti-bacterial stuff though – it’s why we have so much trouble with MRSA now….but that’s not entirely nVidia’s fault!

Hasn’t this proof of concept phone been out for a year now? Seriously why have no products been revealed / announced.
