With singer/songwriter Michael Kiwanuka, it’s all about the voice. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Bob Dylan and Otis Redding, Michael began writing music in his teens before teaming up with Paul Butler from The Bees to lay down introductory tracks that became Tell Me A Tale EP on Communion Records.
Immediately following the single launch party, Jules Hallam caught up with Michael at central London woodhouse the Social to talk more on his musical background, touring with vocalist sensation Adele and plans for his debut album.
